Indianapolis’ newest pro sports team is excited to announce its first ever combine, taking place on Saturday as part of the Women’s Football Alliance (WFA) National Tryout Day. The event will be held at the Mojo Up Sports Complex, 16289 Boden Rd, Noblesville, IN 46060, starting at 9 a.m.

With over 170 women from across the state registered to participate, this combine offers an incredible opportunity for aspiring athletes to showcase their skills, strength, and football knowledge. Players will compete in professional-level drills and tests, giving them the chance to earn a spot on the team’s inaugural roster for the 2025 season.

Kristian Aleixo, founding owner of WFA Indiana, shared his excitement: “We’re blown away by the level of interest and enthusiasm for women’s football here in Indiana. This organization is committed to building a strong, competitive team, and we’re eager to see the talent that will be on display at the combine. This event is a huge step forward for women’s sports in our state, and we’re proud to be part of Indianapolis’ broader goal to become the Women’s Sports Capital of the World by 2050.”

WFA Indiana’s participation in WFA National Tryout Day highlights their dedication to growing opportunities for women in football. The WFA is the longest-running and most competitive women’s tackle football league, featuring 60 teams nationwide, TV coverage on ESPN2 and championship games held at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

The combine is a private event but will be open to the media.
