“Indiana Farm Bureau is proud to endorse Sen. Scott Baldwin in the 2024 general election for state senator of District 20,” Indiana Farm Bureau President Randy Kron said. “Agriculture is a large part of the state’s economy, and we need elected officials who are willing to listen to and advocate for farmers and our communities. We look forward to continuing to work with Sen. Baldwin on important ag issues.”

Baldwin offered his gratitude for the endorsement.

“I’m honored to have earned the endorsement of Indiana Farm Bureau’s AgELECT PAC,” Baldwin said. “Agriculture is a vital industry for our state and local economies. That’s why I’ll continue to stand up for farmers and ensure Hamilton County’s agricultural communities have the support and resources they need to thrive.”

In the state Senate, Baldwin has supported efforts to strengthen rural Indiana, agriculture and agribusiness. Those efforts include requiring minimum broadband speeds and the deployment of broadband to underserved rural areas, enabling tax abatements for new farm equipment and agricultural improvements, enhancing Purdue Extension, increasing public health and career and technical education funding, and banning foreign adversaries from purchasing agricultural land.

Baldwin, with more than 25 years of military and law enforcement experience, is a successful entrepreneur and business owner, a husband and a father of three.
