Tennis: Millers win on Senior Night, Tigers down Cathedral, Shamrocks prevail over Plainfield

The Noblesville boys tennis team split a pair of all-county matches this week.

On Wednesday, the Millers won their Senior Night match 4-1 over University. Noblesville swept both doubles matches, with Jack Brenneman and Dane Campbell taking the No. 1 match and Parker Stallings and Dustin Turpin winning at No. 2 doubles. Both matches were decided in straight sets.

Zane Panning won in straight sets at No. 2 singles, while Max Habel came back to win in three sets at No. 3 singles.

The Millers dropped a 3-2 dual at Guerin Catholic on Thursday. Panning won at No. 2 singles, taking a third-set super tiebreak 10-5 after coming back from a set down. No. 3 singles Habel won in straight sets.

Hamilton Southeastern beat Cathedral 4-1 on Wednesday to finish regular season play.

The Royals will travel to Fishers next week to compete in the sectional tournament.

Westfield won a 4-1 dual meet over Plainfield on Thursday.

The Shamrocks finish the regular season Monday against Greenfield-Central.
