Nearly $65,000 distributed to seven Riverview Health departments to support women’s health initiatives
The Riverview Health Foundation held its 20th annual Women of Vision Luncheon on April 25 with over 340 attendees hearing from speaker Desi Payne on the “Incredible Power of Laughter,” as well as the impact of the Women of Vision Giving Club and its grants for 2024. The 2024 Women of Vision Luncheon Diamond sponsor was CarDon & Associates.
Megan Wiles, Vice President of Foundation and Community Affairs for Riverview Health, shared with the attendees that total grants awarded to Riverview Health departments serving women and children throughout the Women of Vision Giving Club program has provided more than $700,000 in support and assistance to those in need. Thirteen grants were awarded to seven departments at Riverview Health in 2024, totaling $64,600 to support programs for new moms and babies, women going through breast cancer and other cancer-related illness and much more. These grants are made possible through proceeds from the annual luncheon as well as individual, family, and corporate gifts to the Women of Vision Giving Club.

Year after year, they continue to inspire generosity and change in our communities.”
The WOV Giving Club is a group of empowered donors who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the women and children who come through the doors of Riverview Health. Money raised for the WOV Giving Club annually is through the Women of Vision luncheon, gifts from individuals and support from the Women’s Endowment Fund. At the beginning of every year, each Riverview Health department receives the opportunity to submit a grant application for the WOV Giving Club’s consideration. In spring, voting members of the Giving Club gather to allocate grant funding.
“As Hamilton County’s health system, we are extremely dedicated to our community,” Riverview Health CEO Dave Hyatt said. “This means not only providing state-of-the-art healthcare but also leading the charge to support the health and wellbeing of our neighbors. The Riverview Health Foundation and the Women of Vision Giving Club allow us to do just that.”
