Ducks ahoy!

While the Darlington Bed Race has been canceled this year due to road construction and parking woes, Noblesville Main Street’s (NMS) rubber duck race is still taking place next weekend.

Thankfully, there is no such thing as Hamilton County river construction!

Four local businesses are paying it forward with flocks of 100 racing rubber ducks each.

The following companies bought 100 rubber duck race tickets and announced a local nonprofit to get the money if any of their ducks win:

If Johnston & Company CPA wins, the money will go to Nickel Plate Express.

If Sease Gerig & Associates wins, the money will go to Serve Noblesville.

If Church Church Hittle + Antrim wins, the money will go to Noblesville Schools Education Foundation.

If the Lacy Arts Building wins, the money will go to The Lions Club.

Because each picked a nonprofit organization, and because NMS is itself a nonprofit, that makes these four businesses donation double-dippers.
