The Hamilton County Reporter was proud to not only partner with the Indiana Peony Festival this year, but also to document VIPP night on Friday, May 17.
The evening before the festival floodgates were open to the public, those fortunate enough to get tickets for the festival were treated to live music, delicious samples from abundant restaurants, several beverage options, and a special announcement about the forthcoming new festival headquarters.
The weather was perfect and the people this newspaper spoke to were pleased … if that is not the definition of success, we don’t know what is.
Wow! Look at that plethora of peony people packing the pathways of Noblesville. The photo above was taken the Saturday morning of the Indiana Peony Festival, and we suspect those barricades are the human equivalent of sandbags holding back a flood.
We tip our collective hat to Kelly McVey and the Peony Festival Committee for creating an event that has clearly outgrown the capacity of Seminary Park.
