In a recently posted video message, former Indiana Secretary of Commerce Jim Schellinger endorsed Raju Chinthala in the Fifth District Congressional Race.
Schellinger currently serves as the Ambassador of Global Relations in the Office of the President at Butler University. He previously served as President of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and as Chairman/CEO of CSO Architects, one of Indiana’s largest architectural firms.
Schellinger emphasized the impact Chinthala has had on Indiana’s economy.
“Raju was by my side as Secretary of Commerce as we traveled the world,” Schellinger said. “We brought over 100,000 jobs back to Indiana from abroad. We brought over $24 billion of capital investment into Indiana. I am excited and proud to endorse Raju for Congressman in the Fifth District, because Raju will represent all of us.”
Chinthala thanked Schellinger for his endorsement and made a commitment to all Hoosiers.
“I cherish the working relationship and friendship I have had with Jim Schellinger over the years,” Chinthala said. “I appreciate his endorsement and promise to continue focusing on economic development initiatives that provide opportunities for every family in Indiana.”
