Westfield’s heavy trash drop-off event this weekend allowed residents to get rid of unwanted furniture, electronics and other large items. It also helped raise funds for Westfield’s Relay for Life efforts.
“We gave residents an option to donate to Relay for Life as they came through the event and are grateful to everyone who gave to the cause,” said Mayor Andy Cook.
The four-hour event raised a total of $758.96. The funds will be donated to Relay for Life at Westfield’s upcoming Relay for Life event on May 20.
