Congratulations to Westfield firefighters Macguire Bernath and Logan Cicenas, who recently graduated from the IU Health Paramedic Education Program. Since January, Bernath and Cicenas have put in hundreds of hours in the classroom, lab, hospital, and on 911 ambulances. That work paid off and both are now licensed Indiana paramedics and nationally certified by the National Registry of EMTs. They will begin onboarding on a Westfield Fire Department ambulance as they step into their advanced role, bringing even more skill and clinical depth to the city’s EMS system.
Two more Westfield fire fighters are now certified paramedics
