Submitted

As Actors Theatre of Indiana (ATI) concludes 2025, the organization reflects on a year marked by artistic excellence, familiar faces, and a renewed vision for the future. Celebrating more than 20 years of professional theatre in central Indiana, ATI looks ahead with purpose as it prepares for an ambitious 2026.

The 2025 season was both dynamic and successful, featuring productions such as Whodunit – The Musical, Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 – The Musical, Beehive – The 60s Musical, Titanic – The Musical, and Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein. Once again, ATI delivered the brilliance of Broadway … in your backyard.

ATI will complete its 2025-2026 season with two highly anticipated productions: Lucky Stiff in January and the Broadway blockbuster Sunset Boulevard in April.

Reilly’s return

This fall also marked the return of Jim Reilly as Executive Director. He previously served in this role from 2012 to 2023 and brings more than a decade of nonprofit leadership and institutional knowledge back to the organization.

As ATI continues to move forward, the company remains deeply committed to artistic excellence, meaningful community partnerships, and its mission to bring high-quality professional theatre to central Indiana.

Fitzgerald speaks

ATI Co-Founder and Artistic Director Judy Fitzgerald reflected on both the past year and the company’s two-decade history in a special year-end message. Audiences are invited to view her message on YouTube.

Looking toward 2026, ATI plans to expand its LAB Series, a key initiative dedicated to nurturing new plays and playwrights. However, with reductions in public arts funding, sustaining professional theatre presents increasing financial challenges.

Support ATI now & in the future

Support from sponsors and individual donors is more critical than ever. ATI invites the community to consider a year-end gift to help continue raising the bar for artistic excellence and ensure access to professional theatre for audiences across central Indiana.
