Tipton Community School Corporation has announced the official renaming of the Tipton High School (THS) football field to Roush Ford Field, reflecting the new ownership and continued partnership with the team at Roush Ford in Tipton.

Last week, the new “Roush” signage was installed on the THS press box, marking the beginning of an exciting chapter for both the dealership and the Tipton school community.

Roush Ford’s new owners, Jeff Roush and Andy Wernsman, shared their enthusiasm for becoming part of Tipton and strengthening their connection with local families, businesses, and organizations.

“We are truly excited to become part of the Tipton community,” Roush and Wernsman said.

The Roush family brings a strong legacy of excellence, operating the #1 Lincoln store in Indiana and the No. 1 Mazda store in Indiana, and now expanding their footprint with the Tipton Ford location.

With more than 150 employees across their dealerships, all rooted in local communities, Roush Ford is committed to building lasting relationships and continuing the tradition of support established by Tom Roush Ford. Their partnership with TCSC reflects that commitment.

“We look forward to getting to know everyone and becoming actively involved in the community,” Roush and Wernsman said. “We are proud to be members of the Chamber of Commerce and will continue Tom Roush Ford’s strong tradition of supporting others along with our new relationship with the Tipton School District.”

TCSC is grateful for Roush Ford’s investment in students, staff, and programs, and the district is ready to welcome the community to Roush Ford Field.
