Tipton Agriculture Department named outstanding ag program for Indiana

The Tipton Community School Corporation (TCSC) Agriculture Department is blessed to receive various forms of recognition recently.

The Agriculture Department was named the Indiana Outstanding Agriculture Program and the District V Outstanding Agriculture Program at the IAAE (Indiana Association of Agricultural Educators) Awards Banquet last Tuesday, June 9.

In addition, Stacey Hartley was recognized as the Indiana Outstanding Agriculture Teacher and the District 5 Outstanding Agriculture Teacher. Jessica Nichols was recognized as the District V Outstanding Young Teacher. Nichols and Hartley were recognized for the 30 Minute Club for crossing state lines with agriculture news and as student teacher hosts for the Spring 2026 semester. Nichols was also recognized for 5 years of service in IAAE.

The awards recognition was in conjunction with the Summer Agriculture Teachers Workshop held at Huntington University.
