FISHERS – The Fishers girls tennis team earned a Mudsock point for the Tigers on Tuesday.

Fishers beat Hamilton Southeastern 4-3 at the Tigers’ tennis courts. Both teams are ranked in the latest Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association poll, with Fishers at No. 19 and the Royals at No. 24.

The Tigers began with a sweep of all three singles matches. No. 1 Allie Briggs won 6-3, 6-0, No. 2 Ryan Bell was a 6-3, 6-3 winner and No. 3 Addie Sharp was victorious 6-1, 6-1.

Fishers’ No. 1 doubles team of Imani Mokra and Lucy Clark won 6-2, 6-4. Southeastern took the other three doubles matches: No. 2 Lucy Denton and Meredith Walters toughed out a 6-1, 2-6, 7-5 victory, No. 3 Addie Kaus and Taylor Ducy were 6-2, 6-3 winners and No. 4 Delilah Yoo and Alexis Fuquay won 6-3, 6-3.

“We’re playing better,” said Tigers coach Dave Heffern. Fishers graduated four players from last season, a group that helped the Tigers to three state appearances in 2022-23-24 and a semi-state appearance in 2025.

That includes Mischa Briggs, Allie’s older sister who is now playing at Grand Valley State University. Allie moved into the No. 1 spot that Mischa had played for several years.

“Allie is playing great,” said Heffern.
