State Sen. Kyle Walker (R-Lawrence) welcomed the following local students to the Statehouse who served as Senate pages in January and February:

  • Luke Jarymowycz, Fishers, attends Guerin Catholic High School
  • Gabriel Misetic, Fishers, attends Hamilton Southeastern High School
  • Nicole Morris, Fishers, attends Hamilton Southeastern High School
  • Cecelia Cobb-Dennard, Indianapolis, attends Forest Glen Elementary School
  • Liam Gulino, Indianapolis, attends Park Tudor Middle School

Pages spend a day at the Statehouse touring the historic building, observing debates from the Senate floor, and interacting with their state senator.

“I always look forward to meeting students who are willing to come to the Statehouse and learn a bit more about their legislators and how our state operates,” Sen. Walker said. “It’s great to talk with these young Hoosiers in our district about what matters to them, and I encourage more students to take advantage of this unique opportunity.”

Students in grades six through 12 participate in the page program on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays during the legislative session. Groups serve on Wednesdays.
