Savoy White, 85, Elwood, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Community Hospital in Anderson. She was born on May 12, 1940, to Carl and Carrie (Stacy) Buchanan in Saint Charles, Va.
Savoy loved to bowl and was on three bowling teams. She enjoyed watching movies, playing cards, and rolling dice, which she taught her grandchildren how to play.
Savoy is survived by her daughters, Joanie England and Jennifer (Aaron) Hamilton; stepson, Danny White; grandchildren, Ethan and Shadow England, and Conner, Collin, and Colton Hamilton; great-grandchildren, Zayden, Ellie, and Remi England; as well as many more she loved as her own.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William White; brother, Earnestly Buchanan; sister, Anna Ruth Muncie; stepdaughters, Linda Scott, Diane Matherly, and Peggy Sue Robinson; and her stepson, Clifford White.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville.
