Hamilton Southeastern, the No. 1-ranked girls basketball team in Class 4A, got a 65-54 home victory over Warren Central on Thursday.
Maya Makalusky scored 21 points to lead the Royals; she was a perfect 12 of 12 from the free-throw line and made three 3-pointers. Kayla Stidham drained four 3s on her way to 16 points, while Kennedy Holman had 10 points and led the rebounds with eight.
Makalusky collected six rebounds and dished out four assists, while Holman also handed out four assists. Zoe Lawless had five rebounds.
Southeastern is 15-1 and plays at Fort Wayne Carroll Saturday afternoon.
