Hamilton County’s top girls wrestlers are headed to the Muncie Central Fieldhouse this morning to compete in the Indiana High School Girls Wrestling semi-state.
A total of 29 county wrestlers appear in the brackets of all 14 weight classes. Hamilton Southeastern qualified nine on to the semi-state, while Noblesville has eight wrestling today. Hamilton Heights qualified five, Sheridan four and Carmel three.
Wrestling begins at 9 a.m., with the top four placers in each class qualifying for the state finals, which take place Jan. 12 at Kokomo’s Memorial Gym. Here is a list of the county wrestlers and their first-match opponents.
