On Saturday, Carmel Police responded to an armed robbery at the Walgreens Pharmacy located at 1424 S. Range Line Road. Three suspects entered the store, one armed with a handgun. The suspects physically restrained and battered the pharmacist before taking medication and an undetermined amount of cash.
One Walgreens employee was transported to a local hospital with injuries. The suspects were all wearing masks and described as either black or Hispanic. The investigation is ongoing.
