Something is growing in Hamilton County

On Friday at the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds, the Reporter’s own Amy Adams spotted this apparent invasion of a new weed choking out native local plants.

We wonder if Reporter columnists Megan Rathz or Curtis Honeycutt – or perhaps the Hamilton County Invasives Partnership – know how to handle these strange, yet colorful flora that pop up most years in early spring. We’ve been told that we should expect them to return this fall.

In all seriousness, be sure to exercise your right to vote. Find all the information you need to be informed, including where to vote early and on Election Day, in the last few pages of today’s edition and every edition through Tuesday, May 7.
