Dear Editor:
As the election season heats up, it’s getting frustrating and depressing to say the least. Both congressional and gubernatorial candidates continually make accusations at each other or the opposite party without truly explaining any of their own plans. Problems always seem to be the fault of another.
Since this is only the primary, I dread the mudslinging to come.
I commend Suzanne Crouch. Her ad is the only one I’ve seen that highlights an issue that she wants to address (mental health) without blaming another.
My first question to any candidate from any party for any office is: Are you willing to discuss, understand, and compromise with others who may not share your views? If not, we have no hope of positive forward progress.

I want candidates to tell me what THEY are going to do for me/us. Do NOT say anything about the other candidates.
I agree with Laurie Ogle. The mudslinging does not tell me why I should vote for a candidate.
I would like to see more information like Mr. Bragg has published outlining what he would do if elected. Notice he has measurable goals.
Yes, I agree that the mudslinging is not a good thing to be involved in. It’s getting pretty deep now and Suzanne Crouch is right in focusing on an issue close to her heart. Now I will say I don’t know the particulars about Victoria Spartz and her staff who may or may not have complained. Victoria grew up under Communism and knows how hard it is to survive under that environment so she basically has a very hard work ethic and if the young staffers had their heads buried into their phones instead of working, I would not tolerate that as well.
