Noblesville hosted the first round of the Hoosier Crossroads Conference meet Thursday at the Millers’ tennis courts.
In first-round play, Fishers won matches in all five of its flights. That included a 6-0, 6-0 victory by Aiden Foley at No. 1 singles. Gavin Conrad (No. 2 singles), Jack Butler and Thomas Bender (No. 1 doubles) and Johnny Mills and Vaughan Curtis (No. 2 doubles) were all straight-set winners, with No. 3 singles Cooper Vallance winning a third-set super tiebreak to advance.
Westfield got victories in four flights, starting with No. 1 singles Alex Sagarra. No. 2 singles Parker Paramoure also advanced, as did the Westfield No. 1 doubles team of Jack Dietz and Gavin Dietz, and the No. 2 doubles squad of Parker Gibbs and Jay Hostetter.
Hamilton Southeastern’s No. 3 singles Alex White advanced in a third-set super tiebreak over Noblesville’s Zane Panning. The Millers also got a battle from No. 1 doubles Rory Bushong and Liam Sheppard, who took the Avon team to 10-7 in the third-set super tiebreak before falling.
