The Sheridan volleyball team picked up a Senior Night sweep on Thursday.
The Blackhawks beat Delphi 25-21, 25-20, 25-20 in a Hoosier Heartland Conference match. Kenzie Garner had a strong service game, totaling 22 points, including five aces. Meredith Krupp hit three aces. Garner also put down nine kills, with Trinity Parkin hitting seven, Shelby Eaton five and Nova Cross four. Cross dished out 19 assists.
On defense, Garner made three solo blocks and one assist, with Eaton getting three block assists and one solo. Parkin had one solo and one block assist, Cross made two block assists, and Claudia Headlee had one block assist.
Garner and Krupp both made 10 digs, Parkin collected eight and Cross had five.
Sheridan is 4-2 in conference play and 12-9 overall. The ‘Hawks play at Indiana School for the Deaf on Tuesday and host Lapel on Thursday.
