Dear Editor:
We have attended Noblesville Schools and graduated from Noblesville High School. Never have we regretted it – in fact, we were at or above where others were. Graduating college, we returned to Noblesville to follow our chosen professions – Jane as a teacher in Noblesville Schools and Jerry as a lawyer and a Judge – and never have we regretted our return.
We are voting “yes” to renewing the school operating referendum that was approved in 2018 (and voted and approved before that) and that expires at the end of this year. Our future, and the future of Noblesville, are our children. There is nothing more important than education.
Since the money of the previous referendum expires, it makes a “yes” vote critical for the continued success of Noblesville Schools, our children, and our community.
Jerry & Jane Barr
Noblesville
P.S.: In the future, talk to your legislators about their responsibility of providing money for education rather than making taxpayers vote for referendums!
