Nickel Plate Arts invites you to vote for People’s Choice Award in ‘Prized’ exhibit

Prized is Nickel Plate Arts’ annual art competition exhibit, where the Artist of the Year winner is asked to judge each piece and award cash prizes. The exhibit showcases artists’ best pieces from the preceding year.

Prized consists of both a physical exhibit and an online exhibit. The physical exhibit was held in the Judge Stone House on the Nickel Plate Arts campus Nov. 3 to 11. The online exhibit runs through Thursday, Nov. 30, and consists of a Facebook Album containing digital versions of each image in the show.

Simona Buna, the Artist of the Year award recipient, determined the first, second, and third place winners for Prized on Nov. 3:

  • 1st Place: “Illuminating” by Heather Job
  • 2nd Place: “Basking in the Glow” by Lesley Haflich
  • 3rd Place: “Walking Along the Streets of New Harmony” by Jenny Spires

Nickel Plate Arts is still accepting votes for the Prized People’s Choice Award, which will be given to the artist who receives the most in-person votes and likes on Facebook. Votes for this award will be collected through the end of November.
