Beginning on Monday, April 17, the construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of City Center Drive and Veterans Way in front of Carmel City Center.
Crews will install new infrastructure as part of the project including storm sewers, water main, sanitary sewer, communications conduit, asphalt pavement, path, lighting and raised crosswalks within the right-of-way.
This project will begin under a partial road closure with an expected completion date of June 30, 2023. Construction will take place on City Center Drive between 3rd Avenue SW and Range Line Road. City Center Drive will experience periodic traffic flow restrictions and detours during times of construction.
Driveways will be accessible for local traffic, and the city will work to maintain access throughout the duration of the project.
