Leola Jeanette Pyle

Leola Jeanette Pyle, 97, Westfield, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Maple Park Village in Westfield. She was born on September 20, 1927, to Walter and Lena (Searfoss) Powell in Toledo, Ohio.

Jeanette grew up on a farm with five siblings: Marion, Marigrace, Luther, Betty, and Joanna, who are all deceased. She graduated from Tipton High School and married John E. Pyle in 1946 in Frankfort, Ind. Jeanette worked at Mallory controls for 20 years and later enjoyed being a home caretaker for the elderly. She mostly enjoyed being a Nanny for her great-grandson, Brody and then later for Paige, Paul, Payton, Jack, and Jessica Akard. Jeanette loved being a homemaker, cooking for family, gardening, fishing, puzzles, playing poker, and bingo.

She is survived by her children, Sandra K. Kinsler and Charles E. Pyle; grandchildren, Michele Stewart, Tony Kinlser, Sherry Jeffers, Jeni Davis, and Shane Pyle; great-grandchildren, Brody Hutto, Devin Rogers, Mariah Chaney, Rhett Davis, Austin Pyle, Peyton Pyle, Aly Pyle, Keyton Pyle, Kolt Kinsler, Kaleb Kinsler, and Kooper Kinsler; and her great-great-grandchildren, Sophie, Lainey, Charlotte, CJ, Lucas, Blaire, and Hudson, plus one due any day, Rhyder.

In addition to her parents and siblings, Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, John Pyle.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon, with funeral services at noon, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort, Ind.
