Dear Editor:
As I read all the pros and cons about the referendum renewal, one thing stood out. No one is saying that the Noblesville schools are doing a bad job. Quite the opposite. There seems to be agreement that students are receiving a top-notch education.
That hasn’t happened overnight. It’s been a process. Adding opportunities, building programs – it all takes time.
Through that process the school board is a key part. Continuity is vital. As superintendent of the Hamilton Southeastern Schools through 17 years of growth and change, I experienced that first-hand.
The current Noblesville School Board is functioning well. Members are diligent in their roles. Joe Forgey and Misti Ray are vital players. They deserve to continue their good work.
