Hamilton Southeastern sophomore Mattingly Upchurch picked up a big win at the Kokomo Country Club last weekend in an Indiana Golf Association Fall Series Event. Last Saturday, Upchurch carded a six-under par 64 for his first round, then followed that with a four-under 66 in his second round last Sunday. Upchurch won the event by 10 strokes over Center Grove’s Nathan Springer. Upchurch finished the tournament with 12 birdies and only two 2 bogeys.
