Help grow Westfield’s veteran community

Attention veterans in the Westfield area …

If you filled out the Westfield veterans survey, this meeting is for you.

If you’ve never been invited to join a veterans’ organization, this meeting is for you.

If you’re unfamiliar with veterans’ organizations and what they offer, this meeting is for you.

If you’re interested in forming an American Legion post or a VFW post in Westfield, this meeting is for you.

If you want to see a stronger, more connected veteran community in Westfield, this meeting is for you.

You’re invited to attend a meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at the Westfield Washington Public Library, Program Room 1A, 17400 Westfield Blvd.

Organizers will share survey results, discuss bringing an American Legion post to Westfield, and explore activities that can bring veterans together. They’ll also introduce the longer-term vision for a shared Veterans Center.

This is a chance to get in on the ground floor, share your ideas, ask questions, and help shape what comes next.

Veterans, military families, and interested community members are welcome. You do not need to belong to an organization or have completed the survey to attend.

Do you have questions? Contact Dan Kolzow, Organizer of the Westfield Veterans Initiative, at westfieldinveterans@gmail.com.
