The Carmel Clay Public Library (CCPL) will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Digital Media Lab on Friday, Nov. 6, marking a decade of providing community members with access to creative technology, digital learning opportunities, and innovative tools for self-expression.

Since opening in 2016, the Digital Media Lab has served as a welcoming space for exploring technology, developing new skills, and bringing creative ideas to life. Equipped with professional-grade equipment and software, the lab has supported projects ranging from video production and graphic design to podcasting, photography, audio recording, and other digital media endeavors.

The reception to be held from 5 to 7 p.m. will recognize the Digital Media Lab’s growth over the past decade and the thousands of community members who have used the space to learn, create, and connect. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the lab, view a community art show, and network with others.

“The Digital Media Lab has empowered people to develop valuable digital skills and to tell their stories,” Library IT Manager Peter Konshak said. “We’re proud to celebrate this milestone with the community that has made the lab such a success.”

The anniversary reception is open to the public and will take place at the Main Library, 425 E. Main St.

CCPL provides a wide range of resources and programs designed to educate, entertain, and enrich the community. With a commitment to fostering lifelong learning, the library offers services and events for all ages. Find out more at carmelclaylibrary.org.
