Helen Louise Baughman, 92, of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. She was born on March 18, 1925 to Lester L and Selma H (Miller) Hardesty in Danville, Ill.
Helen had attended Danville (Ill.) Community Schools; and spent 18 years using her cooking and baking skills at the Westfield High School cafeteria. She also enjoyed being outdoors, camping and fishing, and spending time with her family. After retirement, she and Roy enjoyed spending their winters in Brownsville, Texas.
She is survived by two children, Teresa A (Eddie) Stacy and Roy K Baughman Jr; two grandchildren, Lisa (Ron) Baker and Tammy (Barry) Neimann; great-grandchildren, Matthew Bennington, Chris Bennington, Daniel Bennington, Melissa Bennington, Timothy Bennington, David Baker, Jacob Baker, Michael Baker and Anne Marie (Zach) Greve; great-great-grandson, Jaydn Bennington; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy K Baughman; two brothers, Lester ‘Buck’ Hardesty and Kenneth Hardesty; and two sisters, Rosie Mark and Delores Bertelli.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Pastor George Cooper will officiate. Burial will be at Crown View Cemetery in Sheridan.
