A Saturday, Jan. 24 non-conference road trip to Bunker Hill went very well for Hamilton Heights.
The Huskies won their sixth consecutive game with a convincing 65-51 win over the Maconaquah Braves.
The two were knotted 13-13 after one quarter, but it wasn’t long until Heights opened it up.
The Huskies outscored the Braves 14-8 in the second to take a two possession lead to halftime, 27-21.
Heights came out scoring even more in the second half, besting Maconaquah 38-30 to roll on for the 14-point win.
Jackson Mikesell led the Huskies for the second game in a row with 22 and nine rebounds. Rees Knapp scored 20 with six boards and Caleb Sullivan added 13 to go with grabbing five rebounds.
