The Hamilton Heights boys swim team finished second at the Hoosier Conference meet, which took place last Saturday at West Lafayette.
The Huskies scored 358 points, behind only Western’s 471 points. Heights won two events, starting with Aiden Clarke’s victory in the butterfly. Clarke also placed second in the 500 freestyle. The Huskies also got runner-up finishes from Rudy Bowman in the 200 free, Gabe Roosa in the backstroke, and the 200 freestyle relay team of Cole Martin, Rowan Donald, Blake Blackhurst and Cameron Wheat.
Heights’ Nathan Cox and Ethan Swart dominated the conference diving meet, which took place earlier this month. Cox won by setting a new conference record of 624.15 points. Swart was the runner-up; his total of 617.00 points was above the old record of 555.10 points, which was set by Swart at the 2023 meet.
