The Hamilton County Health Board, which met Thursday morning, is in the process of accepting applications for a new department director.
Former director Barry McNulty died on Dec. 17 after serving 33 years with the health department. Jason LeMaster, longtime member of the department, is serving as interim director.
The board is accepting applications until Jan. 22, after which a new director will be selected.
The seven-member Board of Health is composed of Charlotte Boden, Laurie Pylitt, Bradley Sutter, David Dwyer, Scott Thompson, Diane Nevitt and Scott Baldwin.
Health offices are located at 18030 Foundation Drive, Noblesville.
