‘Hawks girls fall at Eastern

Sheridan fell to Eastern Friday 52-36 in an away Hoosier Heartland Conference game.
The Comets led 14-8 after the first quarter and 29-18 at halftime. Allie Delph scored 10 points to lead the Blackhawks, including five in the third quarter. Taylor Bates pulled seven rebounds. Sheridan had 13 team steals, with Kaylie Kantz and Bates both making four.
Sheridan is 0-4 in the conference and 5-8 overall. The ‘Hawks are off until Jan. 3, when they host Rossville.
