Hamilton Heights alumni pack Arcadia for annual luncheon

Approximately 225 people attended the Hamilton Heights Alumni Association’s All-Schools Reunion luncheon on Saturday, Sept. 19.

The silent auction brought in $1,155 during the luncheon, which goes toward the Alumni Association’s scholarships for Heights students. Each year, two seniors each receive a $1,000 scholarship, and one senior receives a $500 scholarship. Thank you to the local businesses which donated items for the silent auction.

The oldest alumna to attend was Viola Hunter Koker Jones. A Jackson Central graduate from the Class of 1946, she now resides on a farm in Tipton County.

The Class of 1966 had the most members of any class attend. They were the first class to graduate from Hamilton Heights after the consolidation of Jackson Central and Walnut Grove.
