Evelyn L. Orrell, 93, Noblesville, formerly of Lafayette, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, surrounded by family. She was born on September 21, 1932, to the late Oscar and Irma (Hanson) Sabel in Chicago, Ill.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, L. Dow Orrell, and survived by three children: sons, Kirk (Zelda) Orrell of Arkansas and Jay (Darla) Orrell of Lebanon, and daughter, Rhonda (Tony) Denhart of Noblesville; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The family will gather for a private service.
