Engineering at a championship level

The Fishers High School Tiger Dynasty Robotics Team has advanced to the FIRST World Championship competition to be held in Houston, Texas. After finishing ninth out of 69 teams in the state this season, Tiger Dynasty is now among roughly 600 teams worldwide who will compete in Houston. In addition to that qualification, Tiger Dynasty won the merit-based Innovation in Control Award.

According to Coach Amelia C. Stone, this is a judged technical award recognizing a team whose control system demonstrates unique and effective use of sensor inputs, software, and/or robot controls. Since last weekend’s FIRST Indiana State Championship, the team has been tirelessly working to make adjustments to their equipment in preparation of the Houston competition.

They head to Texas next Tuesday, April 28. You can help the team by donating at TigerDynasty.org/donateworlds. Good luck, Tiger Dynasty!
