Meet the Artists

Stop #1: Marissa Hulvey
901 N. 10th St.

Marissa Hulvey is the photographer behind Furtography Studio, where her passion for art and animals comes together in bright, colorful pet portraits. Specializing in capturing the unique personalities that make every pet special, Marissa creates vibrant works of art that become a lasting celebration of the bond between people & their beloved pets.

Stop #2: Beth Forst
895 Center Drive

“I am a painter of oils and acrylics. I am inspired by an impulse to play with an idea, a thought. Sometimes it’s an energetic morsel of a feeling. The process of making art is rewarding as I design, block in the shapes, push and pull the paint about. I frivolously layer and re-layer, then contemplate the outcome until it sings sweetly. The result is a luxurious conversation that usually generates a feel-good emotion from within me. You can feel the joie de vivre in my palette, showing clarity in design and energy in loose, impressionistic brushstrokes.”

Stop #2: Clive Jachnik
895 Center Drive
(Forst & Jachnik are sharing a location)

A British artist, now a U.S. citizen, Clive is a follower of the ‘Scottish Colourist’ tradition, using bold color and free brush strokes in an impressionistic style. A veteran of the UK Royal Navy, Clive’s peace-keeping services as a diplomat features regularly in his paintings. Therefore, as well as decorative landscapes and still life paintings, Clive’s artwork also shows the journey of countries, communities, and individuals recovering from war. Clive received the Best in Show awards at Penrod in Indianapolis in 2023 and at Ethos in Franklin in 2026.

Stop #3: Randall Scott Harden
895 N. 10th St.

Through expressive brushstrokes and rich color, Randall Harden creates impressionist paintings that invite the viewers to slow down and enjoy the beauty around them. He is passionate about inspiring others through both his artwork and his teaching.

Stop #3: Jamie Harden
895 N. 10th St
(The Hardens are sharing a location)

Retired after 36 years as an elementary teacher, Jamie Harden turned to painting to keep her mind active and engaged. Guided by her husband, acclaimed artist Randall Scott Harden, what began as a personal pursuit has become a passion for painting beauty, joy, and everyday life. This exhibition marks Jamie’s debut and the start of an exciting new chapter.

Stop #4: H. Ward Miles
707 N. 9th St.

Heather is an American and contemporary painter based in Indiana whose work is shaped by her ability to connect to the human experience. Heavily influenced by traditional abstract expressionism, Miles’ paintings rely on less tangible forms of communication, evoking joy and sometimes sorrow through organic shapes, unexpected colors, and translucent layers. Her personal mark making and scribbled notes create a visual language that lets her audience in on her secrets and connects the past to the present, while tapping into a universal portrayal of what it means to be human.

Stop #5: Patty Mac Innis
647 N. 9th St.

Patty and her husband Dan owned and operated Mac Innis Construction & Design Corp. in Noblesville for 44 years where Patty was the senior interior designer and Dan ran the building side. During that time, Patty always painted in watercolor and oil and has been a member of the Hamilton County Artists’ Association for over 50 years, now an emeritus member. She’s also a signature member of the Hoosier Salon and is grateful for all of the amazing artists and clients she’s gotten to know over the years.

Stop #6: J. Rodney Reveal
569 N. 9th St.

J. Rodney Reveal has been a creator of fine art for more than 50 years. His paintings are represented in public and private collections throughout the United States, Europe, and Brazil. He has been in more than a dozen national and international shows.

Stop #7: Amanda Russo
540 N. 9th St.

Amanda Russo creates expressive portraits, figures, florals, and landscapes unified by a distinctive sense of mood and atmosphere. Working primarily in pastel, charcoal, and graphite, with occasional explorations in oil, she balances realism with atmosphere, using dramatic contrasts of light and shadow to capture not only the appearance of a subject, but also the emotion and story held within a fleeting moment in time. Drawing from 20 years of experience as an art educator, Amanda brings a deep appreciation for creativity, observation, self-expression, and artistic exploration to both her studio practice and her teaching.

Stop #8: Dan Howell
303 Parkview Place

Dan Howell graduated from Ball State University with an art teaching degree. He started teaching art at Huntington North High School in 1970, took a year’s leave to study and work in Paris, France in 1972. He retired from North Central High School in Indianapolis in 2013 where he taught ceramics and sculpture. He opened his own studio in Noblesville where he creates functional and sculptural ceramics. He also spends time traveling, gardening, and creating stone sculptures.

Stop #9: Noble Coffee & Tea
933 Logan St.

Although not an official “Art Hop” stop, they are offering a special Art Hop beverage. Stop in.

Stop #10: Rodney Reveal Art Gallery & Frame Shop
942 Maple Ave.

See more of J. Rodney Reveal’s artwork at his own gallery and framing shop. He features several other local artists, including the bronze sculpture of “Illumination” (a dancer) in front of his shop by Kenneth Ryden, pottery by Darlene Patterson, and wood carvings by Debbie Wofford.

Stop #11: Girly Steel Studio
336 S. 8th St.

Girly Steel with Joanie, and later joined by Josh, was started more than 20 years ago. The mother/son team now combine their backgrounds in art and botany to create steel sculptures for the landscape.
