Two local organizations will receive America250 grants from the Duke Energy Foundation – grants that will help them support Hoosier veterans and other community-driven projects.
These grants will support:
- Conner Prairie – $15,000 to expand access to high-quality programming and meaningful civic engagement during its America 250 Civic Season.
- INvets, serving Hamilton, Henry, and Madison counties – $5,000 to help pay for a tool that will streamline the veteran hiring process, expand visibility of opportunities, and ensure better alignment between veteran talent and employer needs.
These grants close out the Duke Energy Foundation’s America250 initiative that was launched to recognize America’s 250th anniversary. Throughout this year, organizations have received grants supporting projects that celebrate Indiana history and revitalize local parks and shared community spaces, as well as help veterans gain job-ready skills and build pathways to in-demand civilian careers.
