School is almost back in session, and Clay Terrace in Carmel will transform its Village Green (near Dick’s Sporting Goods) into a family-friendly entertainment and “end of summer” Back 2 School Bash from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8.
During this free, annual event, families are invited to enjoy features like Touch-a-Truck displays, a live ‘Jump and Hop’ performance, opportunities to meet Indiana Pacers mascot Boomer, Silly Safaris Animal shows, a Passport Trail with school supply giveaways, exclusive store discounts, and additional family activities.

For the Passport Trail, students and their families are encouraged to pick up a passport from the Clay Terrace table and head to the nearly 20 participating retailers to collect school supplies like rulers, glue sticks, pencils, and erasers. The first 35 children to complete the Passport Trail and turn in their completed passport will receive a free backpack filled with school supplies, while supplies last.
The event typically attracts approximately 2,000 attendees, and Clay Terrace is looking forward to another great year of celebrating the start of a school year.
