Noblesville Creates invites the community to join its colorful and creative Day of the Dead celebration from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 on the Noblesville Creates on 8th campus. This festive event honors the memory of friends and family members who have passed while celebrating life, art, and community.

Rooted in ancient Mexican traditions, Day of the Dead is a vibrant holiday filled with music, food, and artistry. Noblesville Creates’ version amplifies the artistic aspects of the celebration, offering a fun and engaging experience for the young and young at heart.

This year’s highlights include:

  • Food Vendors
  • Tex Mex: Enjoy tamales, esquites, churros, fruit water, and Mexican candy.
  • Heydi’s Fruit Bar: Savor fresh fruit with chili, candy apples, and more.
  • Art Market: Browse and purchase unique works from local artists! This event is a unique opportunity to experience local culture through art. Discover talented makers and artists as they share their cultural traditions through the pieces they create. It’s the perfect chance to shop for one-of-a-kind items while enjoying a fun, family-friendly outing.
  • Live Music: Performances by Mariachi Solo.
  • Face Painting: Fun for all ages. $10 per person.
  • Ofrenda: Arts Community Ofrenda.
  • Hands-on craft activities: Engage in Mexican-inspired crafts like Wax Resist Calavera Paintings, Alebrije Paper Creatures, and more. Each activity will be $5.
  • Costumes encouraged: Bring your creativity and dress in festive attire.

Families will have the opportunity to explore Mexican art and culture through interactive experiences, traditional treats, music, and crafts. With food, music, and hands-on activities, this artsy spin on the popular holiday ensures a memorable experience for all.
