Carmel sweeps in triple dual meet

The Carmel swim teams swept a triple dual meet at their own pool on Wednesday.
The Greyhound girls were 128-42 winners over Zionsville and victorious 128-47 over Homestead. Carmel won seven events, including a double victory from Kelly Pash in the individual medley and the breaststroke. Trude Rothrock took the 200 freestyle, Ashlyn Underhill won the 500 free, and Carmel placed first in all three relays.
In the boys meet, the Greyhounds beat Zionsville 115-55 and Homestead 122-48. Andrew Couchon triumphed in the 100 free and the breaststroke, with Drew Kibler taking the butterfly and the backstroke. Other winners were Brett Sherman in the IM, Jake Mitchell in the 500 free, the medley relay and the 200 free relay.
