Carmel Library Foundation announces Guilded Leaf visiting writers

The Guild of the Carmel Clay Public Library Foundation will celebrate the 22nd anniversary of the popular Guilded Leaf Book and Author Events on Oct. 21 and 22 at the Ritz Charles, 12156 N. Meridian St., Carmel.

This year’s events feature bestselling authors Emily Franklin, Kristy Woodson Harvey, John Kenney, Stephen P. Kiernan, Zibby Owens, and Brad Taylor.

The festivities kick off with the Book & Author Evening on Wednesday, Oct. 21. Attendees will hear from the six authors while enjoying appetizers, wine, craft beer, book signings, and an online silent auction. An exclusive VIP reception will provide a unique opportunity for guests to meet the authors before the evening program.

On Thursday, Oct. 22, the celebration continues with the Book & Author Luncheon, where guests will hear the featured authors discuss their latest books, writing journeys, and creative inspirations. The luncheon also includes book signings, a raffle, and an online silent auction, offering readers the chance to connect with their favorite authors while supporting the Carmel Clay Public Library Foundation.

“Guests come to Guilded Leaf for an unforgettable literary experience, but they also play an important role in strengthening library services for our entire community,” Foundation Director Jaime Medley said. “Their support helps us provide engaging programs and opportunities that inspire curiosity, creativity, and connection for all ages.”

Individual tickets for the evening event range from $100 to $175, while tickets for the luncheon are $80. Corporate tables for both events are available for $1,200. Tickets may be purchased at carmelclaylibrary.org/guilded-leaf.
