  • Guided tour of the night sky: Begin the evening with a live presentation pointing out the Moon, planets, and constellations visible in the crisp October night sky.
  • Planetarium feature – “Forward! To the Moon”: Experience NASA’s Artemis Program, the Space Launch System (SLS), and Orion spacecraft on the massive planetarium dome.
  • A sustainable future: Explore visions of long-term lunar habitats and humanity’s next giant leap toward Mars.
  • Narration by Kari Byron: Science communicator and MythBusters host brings the story to life.

If skies are clear, there will be telescope volunteers setting up scopes after the planetarium show in front of Carmel High School.

Enter through the main entrance of the school on Main Street, come in Door No. 1 South, walk past the Dale Graham Auditorium, and turn right. Doors will open 15 minutes before show time. No one will be admitted after the program begins. Children aged 12 years and younger should be accompanied by an adult.
