Today is National Bobblehead Day, and the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has unveiled a new item: the Butler Bulldogs Truck.
The bobbleheads, which are expected to ship in May, are available at this link. Each bobblehead is individually numbered to only 2,026.
The bobbleheads are $35 each plus an $8 flat-rate shipping charge per order.
With his head sticking out of the passenger side window, the Butler Blue IV bobblehead is riding in style in his new BlueMobile. The blue 2025 Ford Maverick has the Butler Bulldogs logo prominently displayed on the hood with “BUTLER” on both sides of the vehicle along with the number 4 on both doors and on the top of the truck. Pictures of Butler Blue IV are also displayed on windows on both sides with text reading “Butler Blue IV” above the doors. With real working wheels, the back of the truck includes a large blue and white striped flag featuring the Butler Bulldogs logo.
Known for riding around in style, Butler Blue IV (aka “Blue”) entertains crowds at Hinkle Fieldhouse by zooming around the court in his mini white Ford Mustang, also known as “The Beast.” Five-year-old Blue also travels in style outside of the arena.
Don Hinds Ford, located in Fishers, has been a longtime supporter of the Butler mascot and a sponsor of the BlueMobile, including the most recent decked-out 2025 Ford Maverick.
Blue was announced as the successor to Butler Blue III (aka “Trip”) on Jan. 22, 2020. Trip served as mascot from 2013 to 2020. While Butler has many unofficial live mascots over the years, Butler Blue I became the first official live mascot in 2000.
“From Butler Blue I to Butler Blue IV, fans across the country have come to love Butler’s lovable mascots,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “We’re excited to be unveiling the latest bobblehead of Butler Blue IV in his new stylish truck. We’re sure that Butler supporters will want one for their collection.”
