Choir! Choir! Choir!: We Will Choir! You – An Epic Queen Sing-Along

Choir! Choir! Choir! is the fully interactive, participatory show that turns audience into performer. Get ready to laugh, dance and sing your hearts out with music lovers just like you – no experience necessary. The Canadian group has collaborated with renowned artists including Patti Smith, David Byrne, Brandi Carlile, Rick Astley, Rufus Wainwright, and even Kermit The Frog at New York’s Lincoln Center, creating memorable videos that have garnered views in the millions. On this tour, audiences can unleash their inner Freddie Mercury and create harmonies that will blow the roof off the place.

With a sound compared to legends like Chet Baker and Miles Davis, trumpet/flugelhorn player Rick Braun has scored more than 20 No. 1 smooth jazz hits as an artist and producer. He has collaborated with jazz and pop greats including Kirk Whalum, Norman Brown, Dave Koz, Rod Stewart, Natalie Cole, and Sade, among others.

Saxophonist/vocalist Mindi Abair has earned two Grammy nominations and won over jazz and blues fans with her soaring melodies and powerhouse style. She has been a featured saxophonist on American Idol, sat in with the house bands on top late-night shows and toured with acts including Duran Duran and Aerosmith.

Known for his standout role as Will Schuester on Glee, Matthew Morrison is a dynamic performer whose charisma and versatility have captivated audiences for years. With a background in musical theater, Morrison effortlessly blends his impressive vocal talents with a strong acting presence, bringing depth and charm to his performances. He describes his new program of timeless songs, Rhythms & Revelations, as “a car wash for your soul” and “a world where music and dance become more than just entertainment – they become a journey into the heart of what makes us human.”

Tommy Emmanuel CGP: Living in the Light Tour

Often cited among the world’s top acoustic guitarists, Tommy Emmanuel is one of only five musicians to earn Chet Atkins’ honorary “Certified Guitar Player” title. At age 6, Emmanuel began touring his native Australia with his family’s band, and by his early 20s, he was performing and recording chart-topping hits with acts like Air Supply and Men at Work. The Grammy winner also has collaborated with artists including David Grisman, Jerry Douglas, Billy Strings, Jason Isbell, Michael McDonald, and Mark Knopfler. His new album Living in the Light, set for release in October, fuses his pop, jazz, classical, and roots influences into a virtuosic masterwork.

Vienna Boys Choir

Printing Partners Encore Series

The Vienna Boys Choir is one of the oldest and most famous choirs in the world. Boys have been singing at Vienna’s Imperial Chapel since at least 1296. In 1498, Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I established a Court Chapel in Vienna where he declared that boys would be among the singers, thus laying the foundation for the Vienna Boys Choir. Today, the former imperial ensemble is a private, nonprofit organization with a primary and grammar school for 330 boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 19, with a focus on choral music and singing. The four boys’ choirs perform almost 300 concerts per year.

Squirrel Nut Zippers: Jazz from the Back O’ Town

Squirrel Nut Zippers will take fans on a magical, musical voyage to the birthplace of jazz as they present Jazz from the Back O’ Town, a show exploring the New Orleans Back O’ Town jazz scene of the late 19th century through the Roaring Twenties. Performing in era-appropriate attire, the Zippers provide a delightful view into this mystical era with reverent but exciting renditions of such seminal classics as Jelly Roll Morton’s “Animule Ball” and Louis Armstrong’s “Back O’ Town Blues,” as well as favorites from their own catalog, adapted and arranged to more closely echo the sounds of 1920s New Orleans.

Jesse Cook: Live in Concert

In a career spanning three decades, master of the Spanish guitar Jesse Cook has sold out performance halls from London to Los Angeles and attracted over 900 million streams and views online. He studied at Canada’s Royal Conservatory, Toronto’s York University, and Berklee College in Boston, developing a compositional style that mixes flamenco with everything from classical and jazz to Zydeco, blues and Brazilian samba. Cook has released over a dozen albums and five PBS television specials, earning honors including Acoustic Guitar Magazine’s coveted Player’s Choice Silver Award and 11 Juno Award nominations with one win. For this performance, he will be accompanied by a four-piece band.

Students from Allied Solutions Center’s Intro to Stand-Up Comedy class perform their original five-minute routines in this “graduation” show hosted by professional comedian and class instructor Mat Alano-Martin. Recommended for mature audiences only.

Peanut Butter & Jam: Grupo Bembé – Latin Rhythm, Melody & Movement
10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11
The Studio Theater
Tickets: $10 per child, includes two free adult admissions

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Puerto Rican band Grupo Bembé on a musical journey across Latin America. With styles including bomba, plena, salsa and bachata, the band’s music is a wonderful mix of lively rhythms, catchy melodies and meaningful lyrics that reflect the island’s heritage and traditions. PB&J sessions are designed to engage children ages 1-7 in the performing arts.

Songbook Library & Archives Group Tours

The Great American Songbook Foundation hosts a free behind-the-scenes group tour of the Songbook Library & Archives, which preserves more than 500,000 historical items from the foundational era of American popular music. The facility is located near Allied Solutions Center.
