Chad Blueher was named to the Cicero Town Council on Tuesday evening in a caucus of Republican precinct committeemen. He replaces Jack Russell, who resigned from the council due to a move from his district.

Blueher will represent District 2 on the five-member council through December 2023. He was unopposed in the GOP caucus. Under state law, Republicans are entitled to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of an official elected on the GOP ticket.
