The Clay Township Military Library and Museum is pleased to help spread the word about Bells Across America, hosted by the Jonathan Jennings Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in cooperation with Hamilton County Parks & Recreation.

The celebration will take place Thursday, Sept. 17, at the West Bell Tower in Coxhall Gardens, 2000 W. 116th St., Carmel. The program begins at 3:30 p.m., followed by the nationwide bell ringing at 4 p.m. Eastern Time. This free event is open to the public; just bring a bell and join in!

This year’s gathering commemorates the 239th anniversary of the signing of the United States Constitution and continues the tradition of citizens ringing bells together across America.

We are especially grateful for the support the museum has received from our local DAR chapters in Carmel and Noblesville. As part of our revitalization, DAR members have offered to assist with research for our Veteran Profiles, helping us preserve the photographs, service histories, and personal stories of Hamilton County veterans.

Partnerships like these strengthen our shared commitment to preserving history, honoring service, and passing these stories to future generations. We hope our members, volunteers, veterans, and friends will join the DAR at Coxhall Gardens for this meaningful community observance.
