With the 2018 Primary Election rapidly approaching, the office of Hamilton County Clerk of Courts is one of several offices to appear on next year’s ballot. It is my intention to not seek a fourth term as Clerk of Courts.
I began working in the Clerk’s Office back in 1976 and through the years, I have served under four Clerks in various capacities. I ran for Clerk and served two terms, from 2000 through 2007. My third term began Jan. 1, 2015, and will end Dec. 31, 2018.
I have seen many changes over my years working in the office – most recently with the implementation of e-filing. I am very proud of my staff of 50 full- and part-time deputy clerks and the work they accomplish each day on behalf of the county.
I have thoroughly enjoyed serving as an elected official and want to thank the citizens of Hamilton County for the privilege.
